Getting Reaquainted

Life has a habit of getting in the way of things.

I purchased my 10 needle embroidery machine (it’s a Brother PR1055X) in April of 2022, right before we decided to retire, sell our house, do a major downsize, move out of state and live in an apartment for a year while our new house was being built. I bought the big embroidery machine to add to my quilting, it’s got the latest things and I wanted to do more sophisticated embroidery projects.

I brought my multi needle embroidery machine with me to our apartment and I used it there frequently. Then it got packed up once again for our move into our new home. Other than unpacking it and setting it up to make sure it worked, I haven’t touched it in 18 months. I had so many other things going on with fixing up this new house and of course the seemingly never ending downsizing, well somewhere in all of that I lost my confidence in using this lovely machine. After watching a YouTube video on threading it properly I was back in the saddle so to speak.

I’m getting back to making use of my tools and toys and setting up my sewing room/crafting emporium in a manner that best suits my creative needs.

I’ve got more projects to make and I’m just getting warmed up!
