Sewing rooms and holiday decorating

I know most people decorate their dwellings for various holidays throughout the year, but do you also decorate your creative space for them?

I have a comfortable armchair tucked away in a corner nook in my Secret Garden Sewing Room that I love to accessorize with various seasonal quilts and small throw pillows I made, and I add seasonal buntings to the trio of windows too. But this year, I've decided to take it a step further, and I took the leap and changed up something in my Tea Garden Studio. That space is small, and while it doesn't have an armchair, it does have a window! I've switched out my cheerful Hibiscus & Pineapple curtains for these charming Gingerbread & Peppermint ones. Now, about my curtains - they're not really curtains at all, but rather tablecloths. That's right, they are tablecloths! I use ring clips on my curtain rod to hang them. I can purchase them in the lengths I need and change them out seasonally for a fraction of the price it would cost me to buy the fabrics to make them. Most tablecloths these days are 100% polyester, machine washable, and some brands, like the Hibiscus & Pineapple, are made for outdoor use and are resistant to stains and fading.

Tablecloths are falling out of fashion for some, but they are an untapped resource that has a lot of potential!
