Dream Big
Three years ago, this was how my studio looked - a big empty room with funky walls, but one full of possibilities. Then we worked our own special type of magic on it, and it became my Secret Garden Sewing Room, where creativity is always in bloom!
Dream Big!
To get a better feel for the size of my sewing room in our last house, it was as wide as the space between the walls where the windows are in my current sewing room (see above photo). Before my husband designed and created that wonderful sewing room in our basement, I was a kitchen table sewist. Each time we've moved, my husband has helped me create a dream creative space. I loved my basement Secret Garden Sewing Room; it was a wonderful space, and I missed it terribly for the longest time. I'd spend countless hours working on quilting projects in my wonderful space. My husband made sure I had a pink, girly bathroom down there too. But now I'm upstairs, and my creative space is filled with natural light. It's big enough for more than two people to sit and work in. Dreams really do come true.
