Finish it February

I am embarking on a new challenge, which I'm calling 'Finish it in February.'

The injury I sustained to my hand and wrist in January 2025, and the subsequent surgeries that followed, left me unable to make quilts or do handwork on any of my quilting projects. The more I thought about it, the more my progress in occupational therapy presented me with a unique opportunity to revisit many UFOs and PhDs (unfinished objects and projects half finished).

So, for the month of February 2026, I'm going to seize the moment to finish as many of my half-finished projects and unfinished projects as I can - hands willing. I'm not rushing the process; I take breaks and rest my hands.

Our once-in-twenty-years winter snowstorm dumped over 11 inches of snow, and temperatures were as low as 15°, with a windchill bringing it down to 4°; those cold temperatures really take a toll on my hands and make them nearly unusable.

I have a backlog of projects that are in need of completion, and I look forward to working on them. Let's see how many of them I can get through this month.
