Le Creuset Clearance Store

Finally, we visited the Le Creuset Clearance Store in Yemassee, South Carolina. The discounts were incredible! This stand-alone store is not connected to any other stores. I had heard about the clearance store a few years ago, and it’s been on my wishlist ever since. Even my husband was looking forward to seeing it. Let me say that this store did not disappoint!

We all have our unique cooking preferences. For me, it’s cooking with French made enameled cast iron cookware. While I can cook on my induction cooktop with this cookware, I can also bake, roast, broil, and braise in it as its functionality is endless. While I’ve encountered people who collect the latest items from Le Creuset and others who adhere to a specific color scheme, I don’t fit into those categories. Similar to my kitchen appliances, I prefer a diverse color palette.

The little white pinch bowls were a free gift with purchase, which was a huge bonus because I’ve been wanting these for a while. They’re perfect for serving smaller portions of various condiments or using to hold measured spices to add to one’s cooking. The large ramekins in shell pink were a total steal, and I absolutely love them, these will be perfect for individual lava cakes and fruit cobblers.

There were tons of great deals to be had throughout the store. That red dot signifies the price on this Dutch oven; it was significantly less expensive here than at any of the outlet shops! There are discounts up to 60% off retail price! Many people think that outlets and clearance stores only sell second-choice items, but that’s not true with Le Creuset. This signature deep round Dutch Oven is a first-quality item, and it’s in perfect condition. And yes, it was 60% off retail price.

Honestly, the color doesn’t matter to me; I’m more focused on the price. Price and multipurpose functionality are the main factors I look for. Being able to prepare food in it, cook in it, and serve said food using my cookware is key to its functionality. Yes, I have a few stainless steel pieces; I use them for quick cooking, definitely not serving in it though.

When treated properly, this cookware can last decades.
